Man found dead in vehicle involved in road rage incident

FEDERAL WAY, Wash. — Police are investigating a deadly road rage shooting in Federal Way Monday night.

Officers were called to Hoyt Road Southwest near Southwest 329th Way around 10:30 p.m. for reports of gunshots in the area.

When they arrived, they found a man dead inside a vehicle.

Police said a preliminary investigation indicates that the 32-year-old victim, a Federal Way man, was involved in some type of road rage incident that began in northeast Tacoma as the victim drove into Federal Way.

The exact circumstances surrounding the shooting are still under investigation.

There is no description of the suspect or vehicle description at this time.
