14-mile traffic backup after I-5 crash in Lacey

LACEY, Wash. — Traffic was backed up by 14 miles Friday on southbound I-5 in Lacey.

Fire officials said one person involved in the crash was taken to a local hospital in serious condition.

Two lanes were closed around 12:30 p.m.

The backup had grown to 14 miles around 1:15 p.m.

All lanes had reopened by 1:25 p.m.
