SEATTLE — An over-height vehicle shut down entrances to the northbound I-5 express lanes at James, Pike and Stewart streets Friday evening.
The express lanes were shut down around 5 p.m. Two of the entrances had reopened by 5:30 p.m. The James Street entrance remained closed while the bridge structure was examined, WSDOT officials said.
That entrance had reopened by 6 p.m.
Trooper Rick Johnson with the Washington State Patrol said the vehicle struck several support structures.
Crews had cleared the scene before 9 p.m.
